Our staff coaches, who are responsible for leading our clinics, camps, and clubs, have all achieved personal competitive success at the youth, HS, and college level. Additionally, our staff have all coached wrestlers to success at the youth, HS, and college level.
Our staff coaches are assisted in running our programs by current college wrestlers who are also available to offer coaching and training with younger competitors.
We offer scholarships for wrestlers who come from families that can demonstrate a limited ability to pay. These scholarships are dependent on our fundraising during the previous year and will be available on a first-come-first-served basis. All scholarshipped wreslters will still be expected to pay some amount of camp or club costs.
NSW is located in Redding, CA and our primary mission is to serve the HS and club programs within the CIF Northern Section. However, we exist to serve the broader wrestling community at large; we will receive campers from anywhere, and will travel to lead camps and clinics throughout California and surrounding states.
We work with male and female wrestlers of all age groups. Our residential camps are restricted to older wrestlers, please check for more information on the specific camp pages. Male and female wrestlers can train with each other, or train separately, based on individual preference and the availability of partners within the clinics, camps, and club.
We currently offer our camps in collegiate (American Folkstyle) wrestling. However, we will be offering camps next season in all three styles (Freestyle and Greco-Roman). Our club trains in all three styles.
